Hi everyone, it's Alexey and Tonia, and we're now coming at you from Antalya, Turkey. We came here in April from Russia and have been here ever since.
We want to thank you for everything you're doing to help the ministry here in Turkey. As you may know, we work with orphans, and your donations and your prayers are a huge blessing. We were able to purchase tablets for online schooling, sporting equipment, medicine, and other stuff for these kids. Thank you very much for everything you're doing.
Tonia teaches English and she has established very good relationships with some of her students. Among those orphans, we also do a lot of sport activities, Bible lessons, some counselling, and recently started seminars on parenting for caregivers and foster parents. God opens more and more doors. Some foster parents needed to go back to Ukraine, so please pray for them that God was would keep them safe.
We also have in mind to start a church plant for those who immigrated here from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, and other former Soviet Union countries. So we ask you to pray for that ministry and for the team to establish.
When we came here April 1st, it was just the two of us. A few weeks ago, our youngest son joined us, and then our oldest son got here just recently. We're now just waiting for his wife and their son to join.
As for our visas, we were originally approved for six months. This runs out in November, so we'll be applying to renew that. If you could pray that that would be renewed and get one-year visas that would be a miracle.
Please pray for our family, pray for those kids, caregivers and foster parents, pray for immigrants, and of course, please pray that this war would stop as soon as possible. We want to see peace in Ukraine and we want to see revival in Russia, Ukraine, and other countries. God bless you.
