I AM Part 1: I AM THE BREAD OF LIFE

Pastor Lukas begins this new series titled “I Am” talking about how Jesus is the Bread of Life.

  1. Who do people think Jesus is? Do you value hearing who Jesus himself says he is more than who other people think he is?

  2. Are you spiritually famished?

  3. How do you respond to Jesus’ claim that what is truly, eternally satisfying can only be believed and received – not earned?


I AM Part 2: I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD

“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12⁠

Pastor Ben shares on the second statement of our "I AM" series- "I am the light of the world." ⁠

Reflection Questions:

  1.  What do you associate with light?

  2. Is there something you thought you understood, but came to see in a new light? What appears differently in the light of Jesus?

  3. Is there something you fear would be exposed if you stepped into the light? But how would Jesus respond to that thing with truth and grace?


I AM Part 3: I AM THE DOOR.

Pastor Lukas shares on the third statement of our "I AM" series- "I am the Door of the Sheep". ⁠

Reflection Questions:

  1. What do you make of Jesus’ claim to be the only door to salvation?

  2. What other ways have you tried to get in? Following the law? Doing good? Other religions or spiritualities or philosophies?

  3. How do you respond to Jesus’ claim that, rather than showing us how to find God, in him God has come to find us and to give us abundant life?


I AM Part 4: I AM THE GOOD SHEPHERD

  1. What does it mean to you to have Jesus as a good shepherd who lays down his life for you?

  2. How well can you recognize God’s voice? What noise tends to get in the way?

  3. What do you think God is saying to you in this season?


I AM Part 5: I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH & THE LIFE

Reflection Questions:

  1. Are you feeling lost, lonely, or wandering? Or in the place he has made for you to be at home with him?

  2. What would it look like to stand boldly for Jesus as the stable, grounding truth in a chaotic world?

  3. How can you welcome the presence of Jesus, the source of life?


I AM Part 6: I AM THE VINE

Join us as Pastor Steve continues with the next statement in our "I AM" series- "I am the True Vine".⁠

Reflection Questions:

  1. What kind of fruit do you see coming out of Jesus’ life? What words would you associate with him?

  2. Are you “abiding” in the vine? How does God’s Word and God’s Spirit make you more like Jesus?

  3. Are there things in your life that make it difficult for God’s love to flow through you to others? How can you hand those over to him?


I AM Part 6: I AM THE RESURRECTION & THE LIFE

Pastor Lukas concludes with the last statement in our “I AM” series, “I am the Resurrection and The Life”.

  1. Is there a miracle you are waiting for? What are you learning about waiting on the Lord?

  2. What does it mean to you that Jesus wept, when you think of your own tears, grief, and questions?

  3. Are you afraid of death? Do you believe Jesus is the resurrection and the life for you too, like he was for Lazarus?
