Wonderful Counselor | ISAIAH 9:6

"For to us, a child is born, to us, a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders, and he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." - Isaiah 9:6

  1. What do you make of Isaiah prophesying about Jesus centuries before he was born?

  2. Does the birth of Jesus astonish you? Do you God’s counsel “wonderful”?

  3. What is the darkness in the world or your own soul where you need the light of Jesus to dawn? How can you invite him in?

MIGHTY GOD | ISAIAH 9:6

  1. What surprises you about how Mighty God came to us in Jesus? Would you have expected God to do things differently?

  2. What do you make of the truth that Mighty God saved us, as only he could, by suffering and dying on a cross?

  3. What do you need Mighty God to do that only he can do? Will you ask and expect him to do it today?
