  1. Do you have peace and a clear conscience before God today?

  2. How hard is it to comprehend the Son Of God taking on all our sin and being abandoned by his Father?

  3. When you think of all Jesus suffered for you to make your peace with God, how do you respond?


THE PSALMS | PART 3: PSALM 23

The 23rd Psalm may be the most well known Psalm and likely one of the most read and quoted pieces in all of English literature. King David of Israel wrote it as he was experiencing one of the most challenging seasons of his life. We often quote it at funerals or at someone’s deathbed. This weekend, join us as we take a fresh look at this familiar Psalm that is not only good for the dying but is a powerful source of encouragement for the living who are walking through difficult circumstances.

Reflection Questions:

  1. Is the Lord your shepherd? How do you (or do you not) experience his leading and care?

  2. How personal is your relationship with God? Do you believe he cares about your food and your water and your rest?

  3. What about God would make you confident in him as your shepherd?


THE PSALMS | PART 4: PSALM 103

‘Bless the Lord, O my soul!’ In Psalm 103, David stirs up his soul to praise God by remembering all God has done for him and his community. Join us this weekend as Pastor Steve repeats this call to worship by telling the stories of what God has done and is doing for us today.

  1. How well do you remember what God has saved you from?

  2. What is your story of God’s forgiveness or healing in your life?

  3. How can you stir your soul to worship, even when you don’t feel like it?


THE PSALMS | PART 5: Psalm 78:1–7

Psalm 78:1–7 is a psalm about learning from the past and teaching for the future. The author Asaph explains the importance of teaching the next generation about faith in God. Join us this weekend as Pastor Bailey encourages us to share the good deeds of the Lord and leave a legacy for the future to come.

  1. Who helped you come to faith in Jesus? Was it someone from an older generation?

  2. Who is an imperfect person who nevertheless led you along your faith journey?

  3. Who in the next generation could you show an example of faith? What would it look like for that example to be real and authentic?
